Hangs on with iOS 8.0.2

This is a fun game, but I have found that on my iPad 2 since upgrading to iOS 8 and on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.0.2) the game hangs and has to be killed. Often the hang occurs right at the beginning other times at the end.
Please fix this!
